Pop star Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner are reportedly planning a lavish wedding at Villa Igiea, the Rocco Forte hotel in Sicily, according to The Times. The couple spent time on the island last summer between tour dates and shoots, and their Sicilian stops quickly attracted attention online.
Patrick Lanzino, manager of the bar Botteghe Coletti where the two visited, told The Times that the pair kept things low-key: “She drank Campari soda, he drank an Old Fashioned, and they ate olives while playing cards. She was very sweet and they seemed like a normal couple.” He added that fans asked for photos but she handled it easily.
Villa Igiea has a storied past. In 1899 the Florio family bought the property from English admiral Sir William Domville; originally called Villa Domville, it had been intended as a sanatorium after a family illness. The Florios instead converted the estate into a luxury hotel built to international standards, and it has remained a landmark ever since.
Today the hotel offers spacious bedrooms and suites many with sweeping Mediterranean views, seaside restaurants serving authentic Italian cuisine, and the Irene Forte Spa with restorative therapies beside a shimmering pool. Restored palatial rooms, Art Nouveau flourishes, marble and warm woods blend with a celebrated cocktail terrace where piano music and elegant evenings lend a timeless, glamorous atmosphere—an appealing backdrop for a high-profile celebration.
