I’ve been testing beauty products for nearly a decade—these are the ones that never leave my toiletry bag.

I’ve been obsessed with all things beauty long before I was allowed to wear anything more than Lip Smackers. So to say I’m familiar with Sephora’s selection would be a bit of an understatement. As a shopping editor, I’m consistently learning about the latest and greatest skincare, haircare, and makeup lines on the market, and as a frequent traveler, I’m always putting products to the test through different climates, outfits, and activities. Needless to say, if I’m going to buy—or rebuy—a beauty product with my own money, it has to be top-notch. I have to not be able to live without it.
But those repurchase-worthy anomalies do exist, and I like to wait for one of Sephora’s big sales to stock up on them. Lucky for me (and my makeup bag), the annual Sephora Savings Event is happening right now, and this year’s discounts are almost too good to be true. Take a peek here for everything you need to know about the major sale, which runs through November 10, then scroll down for all of my favorite products. I promise I would never steer you wrong!
FAQ:
What is the Sephora Savings Event and how does it work?
The Sephora Savings Event is an annual sale where Sephora Beauty Insider members earn access to major savings on everything, both online and in-store. The Sephora Beauty Insider loyalty program is absolutely free to join, which means that everyone and anyone can get these deals, so long as they’ve signed up (don’t worry: it’s easy, and you get lots of other perks throughout the year!).
For the Sephora Savings Event, specifically, the discount you get is dependent on your loyalty level within the program. More info on how that works below:
- Insider Members (free to join): Get 10% off everything using the code EVERYTHING
- VIB Members (spend $350/year): Get 15% off everything using the code EVERYTHING
- Rouge Members (spend $1,000/year): Get 20% off everything using the code EVERYTHING
All Beauty Insider members get 30% off all Sephora Collection products through the end of the sale too.
When does the Sephora Savings Event run?
This year’s sale began on October 31, 2025, and runs through November 10, 2025.

Rhode
The peptide eye prep set
Slapping on some under-eye patches before reading a good book is one of my favorite forms of self-care, so to say I was eager to try Rhode’s peptide patches when they launched last month would be putting it lightly. These are officially my new favorite plane patches, because the packaging is nice and clean, and they don’t budge once you place them under your eyes (if you’ve ever used a slippery eye patch in-flight, you know things can get messy). They’re also super cooling, incredibly aesthetic, and leave my under-eyes feeling tighter and brighter when I land.

Coating my strands as we speak, Color Wow’s Dream Coat spray is indeed a dream come true for frizz-prone people (like me!) near and far. Spray it on wet hair before blow drying and it acts as a humidity protectant, blocking out moisture and taming flyaways as a result. If glossy locks are your goal, this product is how you score—trust me.

Tower 28 Mini SOS Daily Rescue facial spray
A staple in my plane pouch (a.k.a the small toiletry bag that comes with me on every flight), Tower 28’s viral hypochlorous acid spray is my go-to tool for fighting those pesky breakouts that always seem to pop up after international flights (just me?). I spritz it liberally when I travel because the formula soothes and softens my stressed out skin without drying it out.

Sol de Janeiro
Delícia Drench moisturizing shower oil
This shower gel smells so good and feels so luscious, I only use it on special occasions (although I can convince myself pretty much every day is worth the celebration). It transforms from an oil to a foam with just a few lathers, and the scent of vanilla orchid, violet, and sandalwood lingers for hours—even through busy travel days.

One/Size
Mini On ‘Til Dawn mattifying waterproof setting spray
Sure, you’ve used a setting spray before. But you’ve never used a setting spray like this. On ‘Til Dawn is a non-sticky aerosol spray, and is pretty much universally known as the most heavy-duty setting spray one can buy. You’ll see everyone from makeup artists to beauty influencers using it to finish off their looks, and it’s my go-to on days where I know I’m going to be out from morning to night. It truly locks makeup in place and keeps oil at bay (yes, even through sweaty days in the city), thanks to witch hazel. I recently packed the travel-size version for my destination wedding, and it kept my full beat looking just about perfect until four in the morning.

Phlur
Mini Mrs Smith body and hair fragrance mist
Phlur is a favorite fragrance brand of mine, but nothing makes my nose happy quite like its Mrs Smith scent—especially for fall. Designed to smell like the most deliciously crisp green apple you’ve ever brought to your mouth, notes of apple blossom, juicy pear, praline, and musk nectar mingle together to make something truly special. I use it first thing in the morning and before I go to bed.

Estee Lauder
Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation
When I tell you I’ve tried nearly every foundation on the market, I mean it. And when I tell you it has been a decade-long battle to find a formula that can keep my oily skin in check all day long, I’m not exaggerating. But this, my friends, is the foundation I turn to on days when I need a full coverage face that won’t budge, crease, or oxidate. It controls my shine, evens my skin tone, and is buildable without looking thick—I trust it so much it’s what I used on my wedding day.

Huda Beauty
Easy Bake blurring loose baking and setting powder
“Holy grail” doesn’t feel like a powerful enough term for how I feel about Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake setting powder. I haven’t used anything else since I first tried it a few years ago, because it feels so light on the skin and mattifies so well—despite my persistent oiliness—it’s almost confusing. Plus, it doesn’t get cakey!

Not all hand sanitizers are created equal, and these hydrating sprays from Touchland are the crème de la crème of germ busters. Not only do they smell amazing (I’ve probably sniffed 15 of them over the years and the watermelon scent is my favorite), but they are also the perfect shape and size—somewhere in between a credit card and an iPhone, and easy to slip into any pocket without adding too much bulk. The formula also isn’t sticky, which I love.

Haus Laboratories
Color Fuse talc-free blush powder
Lady Gaga and her team at Haus Labs really knew what they were doing when they formulated this pressed powder blush. I apply it with a fluffy brush and it blends out like a cream (and also a dream!), leaving a matte color that doesn’t fade, unlike most blushes I’ve tried over the years. A little goes a long way—I’ve been using the Pomelo Peach shade almost daily for a couple of years, and only recently hit pan.
