As travel editors, we cover miles and the little pleasures that come with life on the road. This March, Condé Nast Traveler’s London and New York desks are sampling everything from horseback rides and whale-watching to cutting-edge skin treatments. Here’s what we’re doing, wearing, and loving this month.

I’m deep in wedding season prep—bachelorette logistics, mani-pedis, blow-dries, LED masks, hydration sachets—and outfit scouting. I borrowed a wide-legged strapless Nobody’s Child jumpsuit, bought comfy New Balance sneakers, and am digging out anything white. After this weekend I’ll be hiding from the incessant rain and powering through a big reading goal: I just finished The Safekeep and am starting Keith McNally’s memoir I Regret Almost Everything. I’ve been bingeing Bridgerton and planning London date nights; highlights include Nina in Marylebone (don’t miss the stracciatella burnt cheesecake), and spots on my radar like Cafe Kowloon and Tiella Trattoria.

I’m at Circle Z, an Arizona guest ranch I visited as a kid. Packing for trail rides meant choosing the right boots and jeans: comfy Agolde jeans, my city-favorite Gil Rodriguez tank, and some proper western wear from Ariat—a flattering boot-cut jean and a breezy button-down. I flew in my vintage black cowboy boots and packed Blundstone chelsea boots for muddier days. For early mornings at the corral I brought Paka thermal socks and a quilted barn coat so I can sip coffee and watch the horses come in.

After a bucket-list trip to Peninsula Tokyo—with vintage shopping and a suite overlooking the palace gardens—I’ve kept local and am looking forward to a weekend at Camber Sands at a new beachfront house called Seamark with a heated pool and a vineyard lunch. I was the First Guest at Six Senses London and am trying Soho Farmhouse’s latest wellness offerings (oxygen chamber, red-light therapy). Swim and sun looks include the Cannes one-piece from Away That Day; sunnies I’ve been loving are The Luz from Jimmy Fairly.

I’m a winter person and have a long weekend planned skiing Pico Mountain in Vermont. I’m mixing cozy and cute—renting trend pieces via Nuuly and Vivrelle while relying on travel-friendly staples. I found Halara Flex rolled-hem jeans (bought two) and Dolce Vita’s Glamor boots for apres ski. I’ll bring magnetic Yardsale ski poles (they’re brilliant), and my Coach Bleecker bucket crossbody—my husband gifted it in a maple colorway, and it goes with everything.

April brings my first safari with my 14-year-old daughter: a more old-school, family-run experience in the Lower Zambezi with Yellow Zebra Safaris and stays at Kutali and Chula Island Camps via Classic Zambia. We’ll also do our annual family trip to Constantine Bay, Cornwall. I’m excited about Gleneagles’ expanded Sporting Club offerings at Frandy Water. For wellness and aesthetic boosters, I’ve been seeing Viviana Botocoa at Geneviv Clinic—Rexonage 3 for cellular rejuvenation and the Emerald Laser for noninvasive fat reduction are in her toolkit. Style-wise I’m into Farm Rio’s Cornely embroidered jacket and wardrobe-neutral pieces like Nobody’s Child’s Mason shirt midi dress.

I endured -25°F in Edmonton for the International Indigenous Tourism Conference and learned to prioritize real cold-weather gear. My go-to has been a Smartwool quarter-zip layered over a button-down and paired with A.P.C.’s Renato trousers—a warm, flattering, slightly corporate look. My Blundstones are reliable (though a bit slippery), and ice cleats are a game-changer on sure-footed days. I rely on L.L.Bean wool socks and COS ribbed tees; sadly, I recently lost my Bosca Nappa Vitello bifold wallet in Tribeca and still miss it.

March feels like a pivot into spring. I’m skiing in Austria at Das Edelweiss and aiming for Big Sky at the Montage later this month, with a dream warm-weather plan for the Grenadines—Canouan Estate’s jungle villas look heavenly. In the city I’m swapping heavy cashmere for lighter coats like Sézane’s Clyde and silk dresses such as Reformation’s Jessalyn. I love Bobbies’ Kimi sneakers as a transition shoe. I’ve revived winter hair with an organic Florazzon treatment and plan a longevity clinic visit to Dr. Vahe in Belgravia for IV and facial treatments. For calm, I’m re-reading Dale Carnegie’s How To Stop Worrying and Start Living.

March sunshine has me daydreaming about Baja California. I’ll be joining National Geographic-Lindblad for a whale-watching expedition in the Sea of Cortez at month’s end. For a week at sea I want active swimwear that works for water sports and bars—Left on Friday’s neon reef top is my pick—and Teva Original Universal sandals for coastal treks. I’ll bring a Stubble & Co. roll-top 20L waterproof backpack to keep camera gear dry. Sunglasses are crucial; I’ve been rebuying Crap Eyewear’s The No Wave repeatedly because I lose them, but they’re an affordable, stylish choice.
